Maya & Family: Hull, MA

I love children, they are just the cutest little things. While they may be cute, they can also be one of the most difficult subjects to photograph. You can’t reason or ask them to pose in a certain way. Children shouldn’t look like professional models by any means, but sometimes you just want some eye contact. I love photographing them because their so free spirited and spontaneous. A great photograph should convey their personality and movement.

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful blue eyed girl by the beach. Maya was way too smart for her own good! Because she’s so darn cute, you can image how many times a day she’s asked to say “cheese”. She immediately knew I had a camera and was ready to photograph her. She knew exactly when to say “cheese”… but never at the camera. Fortunately for me, I was still able to capture beautiful candids. She was so full of life and joy that it made my job easy! Here are a few photographs from our session!

Maya’s uncle loves her more than anything in the world, and you can tell!

Ella & Family – Fall Edition

I feel like it has been forever since I’ve photographed/posted new photos of my niece Ella. I can’t believe how big she’s getting. I’m two hours away from my family, and with my busy schedule I rarely get to go home. But when I do, I sure try my best to take advantage of it!

Last time I went home, it was the perfect to capture some fall family portraits and fun photographs of Ella. Let me tell you, she does not like taking photos! She refused to look at the camera. How does a 18 month old know so much?! I will mold her into my little model, one photoshoot at a time :)

Here are a few photos from our session together!

It was tough keeping with her, who knew those pudgy little legs of hers could move so fast!

See, she refused to look at the camera.

Annnnd, she’s had enough :)
